Xiaomi released MIUI V14.0.7.0 update for Redmi 12 5G and POCO M6 Pro 5G in India

Hello Xiaomi fans! HyperOS updates have already started rolling out in India but besides, Xiaomi still wants MIUI to get updates before the end.

On 29 December, 2023, Xiaomi may have launched the last update of MIUI for these devices. This update added VoNR in Redmi 12 5G and POCO M6 Pro 5G. But these services are only available for Jio SIM users.

Xiaomi also updated the security patch from May, 2023 to December, 2023 which is not that great as MIUI often does.

There are no changes in the performance or launcher, but in Themes, there were 5 sections which are now reduced to 3. GetApps also works better with faster download speed.

The update is of 191 MB and takes about 5-10 minutes based on the connection. However, VoNR won’t work during a call which means it’s still not better for gaming and calling.

To add VoNR in your Settings, just dial *#8667#. But this works on certain models only. If didn’t work, try using Developer options and retry.

Sad for Vi or Airtel 5G users but the network speed is same as always.
